The Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS) is looking for a librarian to coordinate continuing education and training services. We need someone who can assess the needs of member library staff and develop appropriate educational programs to meet those needs. Other responsibilities include coordinating services to users with special needs, contributing content for the system’s electronic publications, consulting with member libraries, and engaging in special projects. Travel within Outagamie and Waupaca Counties and to statewide meetings is required.

While experience providing training, proficiency in the Spanish language, or experience with Web 2.0 tools would be extremely helpful, a self-motivated librarian with good people, communication, and organizational skills and an aptitude for technology is likely to be successful.

Salary is negotiable from $18 per hour, depending upon qualifications, for this full-time position. A comprehensive benefit package is provided, including excellent health insurance coverage, vacation, and employer-paid retirement.
