I've been working in the knowledge management field for 4 years and would like to move into the corporate research arena. While I do not currently perform any database searching in my current position, I did take a class on database searching when completing my MLIS. I need a professional opinion on whether this transition would be possible, considering that I have many other skills that I have seen listed in the job descriptions.
