Title: General Education/First Year Experience Librarian

Duties:
Provides library instruction and develops instructional modules for web-based delivery. Provides general and specialized reference service. Coordinates a program of scholarly information management and retrieval for faculty and students by managing the Library Computer Learning Center (LCLC) facility. Develops and manages assigned collections. Contributes to library decision making; serves on teams to carry out library goals as specified in assignments. Keeps up-to-date in librarianship and information technology, applying current information technologies in carrying out assigned responsibilities. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong interpersonal skills. This is an entry level position. (SEIU Represented)
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited program. Knowledge of current information technology and library instructional module development. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; flexibility and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency with social networking applications.
