Hi,

I got my MS in December 2007 and I'm now job-hunting.

Would it be kosher to apply for a summer internship (paid) to get more experience while I try to obtain a public library job, which may take months? (I'm on several eligibility lists already and waiting to hear if I merit another interview).Or is that "not done" once you graduate? I did a library internship while in school but I'd like experience in as many different areas as possible...and I could really use the money, even though it won't be much.

Thanks.

It depends on how the opportunity is listed. Some are for library school students and others are far recent graduates.
