Do any of you check out USAjobs.gov? I discovered that I'm eligible to be reinstated for federal service, so I've been watching the site. I've applied for the Air Force, since Nellis AFB is right up the road.
While researching, I found this great article Paths to Becoming an Army Librarian
http://www.lisjobs.com/newsletter/archives/sept03emetz.htm (on LISjobs.com, natch). I've been trying to contact the author, without any luck.
Although it is a complicated and time consuming process, the Air Force and the Navy both are recruiting for librarians all across the country and around the world. It is a really interesting idea. What do you think?
