Hi. After a lot of research and hand-wringing I decided to go to pratt for my MLIS. I will be doing a Cultural Informatics concentration with a bit of Digitality thrown in. Does anybody have experience with this program? Any tips for a student that hasn't been a student for a very long time?

A few things in general.
First off, grad school isn't undergrad. At first you may experience a "lost" feeling as you readjust academe and homework. Unlike undergrad, there isn't as much opportunity to meet people outside of your program.
If you're attending on campus, take the time to walk around and familiarize yourself with it. Summer is a good time to do it, not too much activity on campus except for the summer school sessions. If there's an orientation coming up, attend.
Time permitting, do more than just go to class. There should be a student chapter of ALA or SLA on campus. Take advantage of the free stuff on campus, like movie night. Or hit the gym during the daytime.
Hope this helps!
